Vintage Sterling Silver and Gold Floral Hinged Bangle

A beautifully detailed vintage sterling silver hinged bangle by Smith & Pepper Ltd of Birmingham, featuring an intricately engine-turned surface decorated with scattered applied yellow gold flowers. The broad, gently curved design is framed by engraved geometric borders, creating a lovely contrast between the delicate floral motifs and the finely textured silver. The bangle is fitted with a hinged opening, a concealed push-in clasp and a fine safety chain which has tested as 9ct yellow gold. Hallmarked for sterling silver in Birmingham, with the maker's mark of Smith & Pepper Ltd. The bangle shows some dents and surface wear consistent with its age and use, all of which contribute to its wonderfully timeworn vintage charm.
