Vintage Gilded Silver Shell Cameo Pendant Brooch

The vintage gilded silver pendant brooch has a gilded silver frame with twist-wire surround. It also has a pin for use as a brooch, and a hinged fold-away bale making it alternatively useable as a pendant. It has a carved shell cameo (approximately 25mm x 19mm) depicting a pretty 19^th Century lady looking to her left, in a rub-over setting. The pendant brooch is stamped “925” plus other maker’s marks.
