Antique Thomas L. Mott Butterfly Wing Ring

A charming vintage ring by the renowned English maker Thomas L. Mott, featuring the company's distinctive iridescent butterfly wing under crystal. The square cabochon displays luminous shades of cobalt and electric blue that shift beautifully as the light catches it, framed by an attractive hand-finished sterling silver mount with subtle decorative detailing. Elegant and understated, it is a lovely example of the butterfly wing jewellery for which T.L.M. became famous during the first half of the 20th century.

The ring is hallmarked "T.L.M. STERLING ENGLAND", confirming manufacture by Thomas L. Mott. The butterfly wing panel is in very good condition with vibrant colour and no obvious losses.
