Antique Chinoiserie Pagoda Brooch

1920s–30s Chinoiserie pagoda brooch, likely produced in Austria, featuring a tiered pagoda motif crafted from a waxy, jade-like early synthetic material typical of the period, accented with red pressed glass insets and stylised Chinese characters. At the centre sits a cast brass Buddha figure, all mounted on a finely detailed brass alloy back plate with ornate foliate engraving. A striking example of early 20th-century European Chinoiserie costume jewellery.
