The modern 9ct white gold ‘halo’ diamond ring has been rhodium plated. It has a bezel set with a central claw-set round brilliant-cut diamond (approximately 6.1mm diameter – circa 0.85ct; colour I; clarity I3). The central diamond is surrounded by a ‘halo’ of 16 small, brilliant-cut diamonds (circa 0.08ct total). There are a further eight small round brilliant-cut diamonds set in line along each shoulder (circa 0.08ct total). The ring is marked “375”.
