Sterling Silver and Marcasite “Elephant” Pendant
The modern, sterling silver pendant is in the form of an elephant with its trunk down. The front of the elephant is studded with marcasite and the back has pierced decoration. The pendant has a small, fixed loop and a hinged V-bale which is also pierced and marcasite studded. The pendant is marked “925” on the bale for sterling grade silver.
