The ornate, vintage, necklace is made of yellow metal. It consists of 16 heart-shaped links each containing a flowerhead-shaped element set with a round-cut turquoise glass bead. At the centre of the necklace, there are also three larger, decorative elements, separated by heart-shaped links. These larger elements are each set with small faux pearls; two round-cut, turquoise glass beads; and cabochon polished glass beads. The cabochon beads are red, olive-green and brown, respectively. All the elements are held together by small yellow metal rings. At the back of the necklace, there is a section of four dumbbell-shaped links held together by yellow metal rings. The other end of the necklace has a bolt ring which may be inserted into any of the rings separating the dumbbell elements, thus varying the effective length of the necklace.
