The vintage ring has an applied platinum bezel on an 18ct yellow gold shank. The bezel is pierced and elaborately bright cut. The ring is set with a brilliant-cut diamond (approximately 5.3mm diameter - circa 0.56ct; colour H/I; clarity VS1). The ring is marked “PLAT; 18CT; B.E”. Where “B.E” appears to be a maker’s mark.
