Vintage 12ct Gold-Filled Van Dell Brooch
The vintage brooch is in the form of a bow, with twist-wire edges and metal cross struts, which is set with an oval-cut blue crystal (10mm x 8mm). The brooch is marked “Van Dell; 1/20 12K GF”. That indicates that the brooch was made by the Van Dell Jewellery Designers and has an outer coating of 1/20th inches of 12ct yellow gold on an inner metal core.
Van Dell was founded in 1939 in Salem Massachusetts and has been supplying quality fashion jewellery ever since.
