The antique, late Victorian era, 9ct gold pendant has a shaped, open-work surround to circular bezels forming glazed compartments, front and back. The pendant has a decorative hinged bale. The pendant and bale are set with a total of 28 small seed pearls (1mm – 2mm). The pendant is claw-set with three round-cut rubies (circa 0.12ct each – circa 0.36ct total). The pendant is marked “9ct” and has the maker’s mark “G&W”.
