Victorian 9ct Gold, Ruby and Pearl Brooch
The antique, late Victorian era, 9ct gold brooch has a shaped oval body. The brooch has extensive embossed and beading decoration around a plain oval centre, which has floriate engraving and is set with a small, central, round-cut ruby (circa 0.01ct) and four small seed pearls. The brooch is marked “9ct” and has the maker’s mark “A&C. The brooch has a steel needle.
