The vintage, flat, 835 silver necklace is made up of six tightly packed rows of links staggered to give a diagonal ridge effect, sections of which have been gilded to give and overall two-tone effect. The necklace has beaded edges and has a box-and-tag closure with a safety clip. The necklace is marked “835” showing an 83.5% grade of silver – slightly lower than sterling silver. This is a grade of silver used in several European countries
