Sterling Silver, Green Agate, Cubic and Marcasite Drop Earrings
The modern, sterling silver drop earrings have pins and butterflies. The earrings each have a small, teardrop-shaped, upside-down element on the pin. This supports a cast, open-work, somewhat square, pendant hanging on the diagonal. The pendant is decorated with green resin, small orange-coloured cubic zirconia (circa 1.5mm diameter), and marcasite. Each pendant is tube-set with an oval, cabochon polished, green agate (10.0mm x 8.0mm). The earrings and butterflies are marked “925”.
