The modern hand-made ring is made of sterling silver. It has a curved square shape and has two stripes of kakula wood set into it. The total width of the ring is 10mm with an outer metal stripe (circa 3mm), followed by a wood stripe (circa 3mm), followed by a further metal stripe (circa 1mm), followed by a further wood stripe (circa 3mm), followed by another metal stripe (circa 2mm). The ring is marked “925” and was hand-made according to the design of Ivan Mrkusic of Johannesburg.
