The modern sterling silver necklace is made up of a diamond-cut curb chain with bolt-ring closure and a silver and amber pendant. The pendant has a cabochon polished, oval, amber (21mm x 11.5mm x 6mm – honey coloured with some inclusions) tube-set into an open-work pendant of a stylised, somewhat mid-20th Century, design. The pendant has a small, fixed loop and a hinged open-work bale of similar design. The pendant is marked “925” on the bale and “ITALY; 925” with a trade mark, on the chain.
