Sterling Silver and Amber “Cross” Pendant
The modern, sterling silver pendant is in the form of a silver cross with a fixed wedge bale. The cross is claw-set with six polished square pieces of dark honey-coloured amber, all with some inclusions. There is a larger central amber (approximately 6mm square and five smaller ones – 4mm square). The cross is unmarked but tests to be sterling grade silver.
