The modern, sterling silver earrings are in the shape of bees and have hooks with closures. The bees have spread, open-work wings, textured thoraxes, and are set with a marquise-shaped, cabochon polished, amber (8.8mm x 5.1mm – deep honey-coloured with inclusions) tube-set into their abdomens. The earrings are marked “925”.
