The modern hand-made ring is made of sterling silver. It has a rounded square shape and has a stripe of African blackwood set into it. The total width of the ring is 5.5mm with two outer metal stripes (one circa 2.5mm; one circa 2mm wide), either side of a wood stripe (circa 2mm wide). The ring is marked “925”. The ring was hand-made according to the design of Ivan Mrkusic of Johannesburg.
