Silver and Amber Pendant

The vintage 835 grade silver and amber pendant has an irregular, tumbled amber (circa 47mm x 24mm x 17mm) held by a small, decorated, hinged mount, which, in turn, is attached to a small ring and a lightly decorated oval bale. The amber contains a number of inclusions. The bale of the pendant is marked “835” showing a grade of silver slightly lower than sterling silver, which is in use in some Continental countries.
