The large, modern sterling silver and 18ct yellow gold brooch has a modernist, abstract shape with a teardrop-shaped cut-out. The brooch also has applied 18ct yellow gold decoration. The brooch is marked “JWM” for the maker Jane Macintosh, and has the sterling lion passant mark and the date letter for 1994. The applied gold decoration is not marked but has been electronically test to be 18ct yellow gold.
