The modern, sterling silver earrings have pins and butterflies. They are partially rose gold- and partially rhodium-plated. On the pin of each earring, there is a gold-plated, four petal flower element which is set with a Swarovski crystal in the centre, and which supports a pendant set with a pear-shaped freshwater pearl (9mm x 6mm - white with slight rose overtones; smooth good lustre; no significant blemishes). The earrings and the butterflies are marked “925”.
