Sterling Silver, Cubic Zirconia and Marcasite “Heart” Locket Pendant Necklace
The modern, sterling silver, heart-shaped locket pendant is hinged, and has a pierced front and back. The front of the locket is set with an amethyst-coloured, heart-shaped, cut, rub-over set, cubic zirconia. The locket has a small, fixed ring, and hinged decorated bale at the top. The front of the pendant is decorated with marcasite. The pendant hangs from a fine curb chain with a bolt-ring closure. The chain is marked “925” and has a further mark resembling a three-leaf clover. The locket is unmarked but tests to be sterling silver.
