Art Nouveau Silver and Enamel Necklace
The Art Nouveau silver necklace is made up of a fine cable chain which supports a shaped, enamelled element, which, in turn, supports a small, enamelled pendant. Both have turquoise / blue enamelling over a guilloche background with floriate decoration. The necklace is unmarked but both the chain and pendants have been electronically scanned and test to be an alloy of silver and palladium (circa 65% silver; 25% palladium).
