Thomas Webb Satin Glass Perfume Bottle with Silver Mounts
The antique, light green Burmese satin-glass perfume bottle has a ball shape. It was made by Thomas Webb. It is decorated with green enamel and gilt flower and leaf decoration by Jules Barbe and has a sterling silver screw mount and screw-on cover by Charles May. The silver mounts have the maker’s mark “CM” for Charles May; The hallmark for Birmingham; the lion passant sterling silver mark; and the date letter for 1886.
