1904 Silver Fob-Chain Necklace with T-bar and Coin Pendant
Antique Silver Fob-Chain Necklace with T-bar and Coin Pendant
The antique fob-chain necklace has a main section which is made up of a heavy curb chain; with two dog-clips, which act as a closure. A T-bar pendant and a Victoria silver crown pendant are suspended from the centre of the necklace. Both dog-clips, and the T-bar, are marked “PPLD.”, and have the Birmingham date letter for 1904. The dog-clips, the T-bar and all the chain links are marked with the lion passant English silver sterling mark. The silver crown is dated 1888. The holder for the coin does not appear to have any marks and was probably made about the same time as the necklace.
