Antique French 15ct Gold, Diamond and Pearl Bar Brooch

The long, delicate, late 19th Century, 15ct gold bar-brooch has a white gold front into which nine pearls and eight diamonds are set in line.
The pearls are almost certainly natural pearls and are slightly irregular in their round shape (circa 3.5mm to 4.2mm diameter); and in their colour which is generally light cream. They have quite good lustre.
The eight diamonds are set between the pearls – six are quite small and rose cut (circa 0.03ct in total) and two, at the centre, are old round-cut diamonds (circa 0.05ct in total). The brooch is probably French and comes in what appears to be its original box marked “Hersant et Fils; Joailler Fabricant; 348. St. Honoré, Paris”. The brooch is unmarked but has been electronically scanned and tests to be 15ct gold.
