Antique 9ct Rose Gold and Opal Locket Pendant
The antique 9ct rose gold pendant is in the form of a plain round locket set, off-centre, with an opal (approximately 4.1mm round – circa 0.2ct; strong blue, green, pink & yellow opalescence). The locket has a ring bale and a single yellow gold ring picture holder inside. The pendant has English hallmarks; some of which are rubbed. It is marked “9; .375” and has the hallmark for Birmingham. The maker’s mark and the date letter cannot be read. The locket had an inscription on the back, which has not been completely removed.
