Antique 9ct Gold, Opal, Garnet, and Diamond Ring

The antique 9ct yellow gold ring has a central, claw-set, oval, cabochon-polished opal (approximately 7.2mm x 5.1mm – circa 0.5ct; white with multicolour, primarily blue and green, opalescence), which is flanked by two oval-cut garnets (approximately 4mm x 3.5mm – circa 0.6ct total). The garnets and opal are separated by pairs of small, round, old-cut diamonds (circa 0.1ct in total for the four diamonds). The ring has no gold grade marks but has been electronically scanned and confirmed to be 9ct yellow gold. The ring is marked “4” which is possibly a design number.
