Antique 18ct Yellow Gold, Opal and Diamond Ring
The antique 18ct yellow gold ring has decorated shoulders, and is set with three oval opals in line (centre approximately 6.0mm x 5.5mm – circa 0.5ct; two approximately 5.0mm x 4.0mm – circa 0.25ct each – all with strong pink, blue and green opalescence). The opals are separated by two sets of three old-cut diamonds (circa 0.08ct total). The ring has slightly poorly struck English marks with a crown; the number “18”; the hallmark for London; and the date letter for 1904.
