9ct Gold and Turquoise Earrings
The vintage 9ct yellow gold earrings have pins and butterflies and are in the form of lobed, pierced and grooved ovals, each set with seven small cabochon polished turquoise (centre circa 2.5mm diameter; six circa 1.5mm diameter). The earrings are unmarked but have been electronically scanned and test to be 9ct yellow gold. The butterflies are both marked “9CT; NUVO”. Nuvo appears to be an English producer of gold and silver jewellery operating round the 1970’s.
