9ct Gold and Pearl “Shell” Stud Earrings

The modern 9ct yellow gold stud earrings have pins and butterflies and are each set with a salt-water pearl (approximately 5.5mm diameter; round, light cream; no noticeable blemishes; good lustre) into clam shell shaped setting. The earrings are marked with a maker’s mark and the butterflies are marked “9ct” and “9K” respectively. The earrings have been electronically tested to be 9ct yellow gold.
