The modern, 18ct yellow gold ring has an oval head, which is rub-over set with an oval-cut diamond (4.8mm x 3.0mm – circa 0.28ct, colour O; clarity SI3). Two square-cut sapphires (2.6mm square – circa 0.10ct each) are channel-set into each shoulder. The ring is marked “18ct”.
