The modern necklace consists of an 18ct white gold chain and pendant. The pendant has a fixed bale, and is set with a round brilliant-cut diamond (approximately 3.8mm diameter – circa 0.21ct; colour I/J; clarity SI1). The chain is a fine, white gold box chain. The pendant is unmarked but tests to be 18ct white gold. The chain is marked “750” for 18ct white gold and also has the marks “ITALY; E”
