18ct Gold, Pearl and Diamond Ring
The modern 18ct yellow gold ring is claw-set with a central pearl (6.5mm diameter, round, light cream with strong pink overtones, no discernible blemishes, and good lustre) which is surrounded by eight round-cut, claw-set diamonds. There are four larger diamonds (circa 2.9 -3.2mm - circa 0.60ct in total) and four small diamonds (circa 0.08ct total). The ring has no carat mark but has been tested to be at least 18ct gold. The ring appears to be marked with some rather rubbed and unidentified marks on the back of the head.
