They set with black, cultured, South Sea, salt water, mabé pearls (circa 11.5mm diameter; – round; smooth; good lustre; very dark brown with pink overtones; no visible blemishes). The pearls are, each, surrounded by 22 small, round, brilliant-cut diamonds (approximately 1.9mm diameter – circa 1.25ct total for the pair). The earrings are marked “18K”.
