The modern, sterling silver necklace consists of a fine, silver, snake-link chain, with a bolt ring closure, and a heart-shaped pendant. The heart-shaped pendant is plainly polished, suitable for possible later engraving, and has a tube affixed to the rear to allow it to be suspended from the chain. The pendant and chain are both marked “925” for sterling silver.
