The modern, sterling silver earrings have hinged shepherd’s hooks. Each has a shaped pendant, with decorative surround, tube-set with a pear-shaped, cabochon-polished amethyst (9.6mm x 6mm – circa 3ct total), as well as with a cultured pearl (c.4.8mm diameter; round white; good lustre; no significant blemishes). The earrings are marked “925” on hooks and pendants.
