Sterling Silver and Amber Necklace
The modern sterling silver necklace has a three-element, hinged, centrepiece, each tube-set with teardrop (yellow) and navette-shaped (honey colour), cabochon polished, amber. All the pieces of amber have some inclusions. The centrepiece is suspended from two sections of silver curb chain with a bolt-ring closure. The necklace is marked “925” on the centrepiece and bolt-ring.
