Vintage 9ct Gold and Shell Cameo Pendant Brooch
The vintage, brooch / pendant has a high quality, oval, carved, shell cameo (45mm x 34mm), depicting a pretty young lady (in 19th Century style), looking to her left. The cameo is in a 9ct tube setting with gold twist wire surround. The brooch has a folding bale so that it can also be worn as a pendant as well as a gold needle. It also has a small round loop on the back, which can be used to attach a safety chain. The bale is marked “9ct”.
