The modern, sterling silver octopus pendant has a small, fixed ring and hinged figure of eight bale. The body of the pendant has fine bead and fine, applied, ring decoration and is rub-over set with amber in the body (10.0mm x 7.5mm oval, deep honey-coloured with inclusions) and eyes (3mm diameter – dark honey-coloured).
