The modern, sterling silver, cat pendant has a small, fixed ring and hinged bale. The pendant is in the form of an outline of a cat with a tube-set, pear-shaped amber in its body (9.5mm x 5.5mm – dark honey-coloured with some inclusions). The pendant is marked “925” for sterling grade silver.
