Art Deco Otis Inc. Silver, Rhinestone and Faux Amethyst Necklace
The vintage, Art Deco, rhodium-plated, sterling silver necklace is set with numerous round- and baguette-cut clear rhinestone, and has a large pendant set with a faux amethyst (paste – 24mm x 17mm x 6.7mm) There are no stones lacking, and the necklace and all the stones are in excellent condition. The necklace is marked “OTIS; STERLING” on the fold-over clasp and on the pendant.
Otis Inc. was a company in Rhode Island, USA, that produced quality silver and rhinestone, and other, jewellery from 1934 to about 1970. This necklace is a highly collectable item in the Art Deco style and produced in the Art Deco period.
