The modernist style ring is made of sterling silver and has a head that is made by joining a dished top to a dished base. The head is set with a polished red stone, or possibly coral, that has a slightly textured surface. The shank is open with ends passing one another under the head. Thus, it may be adjusted to any size required. The ring is marked “925S”, slightly indistinctly struck.
