The modern 9ct white gold ring is rhodium-plated and has rectangular bezel set with an emerald-cut tanzanite (approximately 7.0mm x 5.0mm – c. 1.2ct; deep violet blue; eye clean). The tanzanite is surrounded by 18 small round-cut diamonds (circa 0.10ct total). The ring is marked “9CT; ZA”, where “ZA” indicates that it was made in South Africa.
