The modern, sterling silver drop earrings each have a pole and butterfly. On each pin there is a small, decorative element (set with a marcasite) which supports an inverted, heart-shaped pendant studded with marcasite. This pendant supports a further, oval, mother-of-pearl set pendant. The earrings and butterflies are marked “925”.
