Modernist Kultaseppa Salovaara Sterling Silver and Smoky Quartz Ring
The modernist style ring is made of 830 grade silver. It has a head formed of a domed, shaped, and pierced (three circles) upper surface, and a dished, rounded square, base. The upper surface is claw-set with two round-cut smoky quartz (approximately 5mm diameter – circa 1ct total). The ring has a lightly oxidised finish.
The ring has the polar bear mark that stands for Kultaseppa Salovaara of Finland. It has the crown in a heart mark that shows that it was made in Finland. It has the 830H mark that shows that it is made of 83.0% silver and that it was made between 1969 and 1972. It has an “A with top bar” mark that shows that it was made in the town of Turku. It also has the “R7” mark that shows that it was made in 1970.
