9ct Gold Peridot and Diamond “Chandelier” Drop Earrings
The vintage, hand-crafted 9ct yellow gold, chandelier, drop earrings are finely made and have partially rhodium-plated fronts (around the diamonds), and have pins and butterflies. They are, each, made up of an elongated teardrop, vertical bar set with five small, round, brilliant-cut diamonds (circa 0.10ct for the pair), attached to the pin. Each vertical bar supports an open-work element which, in turn, supports a central, pear-shaped, cut, peridot (approximately 5.9mm x 4.1mm – circa 0.42ct each), and two fine, short chains. These chains, each, support a curved element set with seven small round brilliant cut diamonds (circa 0.14ct for the pair) and three pear-shaped cut, pendant peridots (two approximately 3.9mm x 3.0mm – circa 0.25ct each; and one approximately 5.9mm x 4.1mm – circa 0.42ct each). The earrings are marked “375” on the earrings and one butterfly. The other butterfly is marked “9CT”.
