The vintage, sterling silver gilt, brooch with white guilloche enamelling is in the form of a posy of three stylised flowers. The brooch is marked “BALLE; 925S; STERLING NORWAY”.
The clip-on earrings are designed to match the brooch and are also gilt silver with white guilloche enamelling. They are marked “BALLE; 925S”
Øystein Balle, born in Stavanger, Norway (1928 - 1998) was a fine silversmith and enamellist whose finest work, with innovative designs, was produced in the 1960’s – 1970’s.
