The modern silver necklace is made up of a fine silver snake chain with bolt-ring closure, and an oval pendant, with a fixed silver tubular bale, set with an oval, cabochon polished, rutilated quartz (18mm x 13mm) tube-set into a silver frame. The pendant and the chain are both marked “925” with the pendant being slightly indistinctly struck.
