Vintage 9ct Gold Swivel Seal Pendant with 14ct Gold Chain
The vintage 9ct yellow gold swivel fob seal pendant has a polished carnelian on one side and a polished bloodstone on the other. The holder has some gold bead decoration and has a fixed bale; The seal has marks of which “375” for 9ct gold; the maker’s mark “D J” are legible. There also appears to be a crown mark a hallmark and a date letter, but these are unclear. The seal has therefore been described as vintage, although it may well be earlier.
The chain has rectangular links and a tongue-and-tube closure with safety clip. The chain is marked “14kt”. The chain may be later than the seal.
